Welcome to the Condor Exercises! We hope you enjoy these exercises. These online exercises provides you with enough information to go through the exercises at your own pace. Your exercise leader, Alain Roy, is available to help you out and answer any questions that you have.
Introductory tutorial
This tutorial is divided into several sections:
- Introduction
- Installing a personal Condor
- Submitting your first Condor job
- Submitting a standard universe job
- Submitting a Java job
- Coordinating set of jobs: A simple DAG
- A more complex DAG
- Handling jobs that fail with DAGMan
- Finishing up the condor portion
Advanced tutorials
Our hope is that you can get through the first of these three sections. The last two are provided for students that finish early or have motivation to do extra work.
