Biography:

Dr Gennaro Oliva, PhD

Gennaro Oliva received a degree in Mathematics in 1999 and PhD degrees in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in 2004 from the University of Naples Federico II.
Since 2001 he has a permanent position as technologist at the Italian National Research Council (ICAR-CNR).
Dr. Oliva's research focuses on parallel and distributed computing, his recent work concerns multi-site application management on the Grid.
He has set up the laboratories for the three edition of the International Summer School on Grid Computing.
