Biography:

Dr Laura Antonelli, PhD

Laura Antonelli is a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science.
She is a young researcher of the Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR-CNR).
Her research area is biomedical imaging and her studies are focussing on numerical algorithms and software development for image reconstruction and restoration in high performance environments (Clusters, Grids).
Since 2003 she has been involved mainly in two MIUR national research projects: FIRB-Grid.it (WP9 Grid enables scientific libraries) and PON-SPACI.
At present she is working on MEDITOMO (MEDIcal TOMOgraphy) a grid enabled scientific library for SPECT reconstruction.
