Biography:

Dr Maria Gelli

Maria Gelli received a degree in Mathematics in 1981 from University of Naples Federico II.
Since 2001 she has a permanent position as technologist at the Italian National Research Council.
Her activities focus on administrative, organisational and technical management with respect to research and development projects as well as technology transfer related to HPC systems for distributed and parallel computing. The aforesaid activities have been performed in reference to the following projects: FIRB Grid.it, SPACI (Southern Partnership for Advanced Computational Infrastructures), EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-sciencE).
She contributed to the organising activities of the previous editions of the International Summer School on Grid Computing and other events related to the above projects.
