Biography:

Dr Vania Boccia

Vania Boccia received a degree in Mathematics in 2003 from University of Naples Federico II where, at present, she is a Phd student in Computational and Computer Science.
From 2003 to 2005 she has worked for Institute for High Performance Computing and Networking (ICAR-CNR) from 2003 to 2005.
Since 2003 she has been involved mainly in two MIUR national research projects: FIRB-Grid.it (WP9 Grid enables scientific libraries) and PON-SPACI.
Dr. Boccia research has focused on the development of performance contracts system for numerical applications
runtime monitoring, application-oriented numerical interfaces, grid enables scientific libraries and grid portals.
At present she is working on a Grid-PSE for medical imaging (MedIGrid) in SPACI Grid infrastructure.
