Description
This seminar series aims at providing a forum for exchanging ideas and presenting advances in the field of Numerical Analysis and its applications. The seminars will cover a wide range of topics in the field, such as Numerical Optimization, Numerical Linear Algebra, methods for the numerical solution and analysis of ODEs and PDEs, Approximation Theory and Algorithms, Numerical Bifurcation Analysis, in both the deterministic and stochastic setting, with a wide range of applications, from Image Processing to Machine Learning and Neural Networks, Complex Systems and other challenging problems of contemporary interest in Science and Engineering.
