Formative Objective of the Doctorate in Mathematical
Sciences
The formative objective is the insertion of PhD students in research
area of the specific fields of the PhD in Mathematical sciences, through the
scientific competence of the Teaching Board and the tutors, holding account
about PhD students’ characteristic scientific inclinations. Such insertion is
realized through one period of progressive development that induces in the PhD
student the independent propositive ability and it is
concluded in one valid proposal of dissertation in one of the program’s areas.
The formative objective is fundamentally the scientific research training, in
the way that on its end the PhD student can manage it independently and
effectively. An essential period of the training will be constituted by
specialized courses, seminaries and international scientific contacts.
