After a brief introduction of IBM e-business on demand initiative in which Grid Computing is one of the three major components, I will detail the IBM's strategy in Grid Computing and illustrate our current approach to Grid Computing through real life case studies in various industry sectors (banking, engineering, life sciences, petroleum). These concrete examples will show how grid computing technologies are being applied today in industrial sectors and can provide important value add to business daily activities.
