Aim and Scope
This is the 17th workshop in a series dedicated to Numerical Linear Algebra and Applications.
It aims at gathering the Italian Numerical Linear Algebra scientific community to discuss recent
advances in this area and to promote the exchange of novel ideas and the collaboration among researchers.
We strongly encourage talks given by young scholars on theoretical and computational issues,
as well as on applications. Contributions by people working in other areas,
requiring tools from Numerical Linear Algebra, are very welcome.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to):
iterative methods for large-scale linear systems, preconditioning, eigenvalues and eigenvectors,
SVD, structured matrices, tensors, matrix functions, rational Krylov methods, and randomized
linear algebra algorithms. Applications include optimization and control, image processing
and inverse problems, networks and graphs, machine learning and artificial neural networks,
uncertainty quantification, finance, material sciences, life sciences, industrial processes,
to name just a few.
